As a child, I was an odd duck. Not because I loved adventure, plenty of kids love to climb trees and do battle with imaginary beasts. I was just stubbornly me, and no one was ever going to change that.
In everything I do, the typical path is the one that terrifies me. Normalcy is my Kryptonite. Some would say that I have a lust for making life difficult. In truth, I simply find joy in carving my own road, my way.
I was lucky enough to grow up in Alberta, spending virtually every vacation in the Canadian Rockies. I am blessed with a pair of magnificent parents who made sure that I had the opportunity to continually experience Canada's incredible paradise. As an adult, I've bounced back and forth across Canada. I spent the better part of a decade in Vancouver but have since returned to Toronto chasing adventure and creativity every step of the way.
